Marinated Greek Chicken Skewers



These Greek Chicken Skewers Marinated are full of flavors from the Mediterranean. After being marinated in olive oil, garlic, lemon, and fragrant herbs for a while, the chicken is grilled until it's just right. They are a tasty and healthy meal that is great for summer barbecues or whenever you want to eat something Greek-style.

Ingredients:

  • 5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Cherry tomatoes for skewering
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

Salt, pepper, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, olive oil, and whisk them together in a bowl

Add dried oregano, thyme, and rosemary

Add the chicken cubes to the sauce and mix them around

Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours with the lid on

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Put pieces of chicken that has been marinated on the wooden skewers, then pieces of red bell pepper, red onion, and cherry tomatoes

Use any extra marinade from the bowl to brush on the skewers

Turn the chicken skewers over every so often while grilling for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has nice grill marks

Grilled Greek chicken skewers should be served hot with tzatziki or your favorite dipping sauce
